Family Institute Learning Sessions are categorized into four strands:
Designed to support the personal and professional development goals of participants. These sessions focus on child development, effective parenting practices, parent leadership, and advocacy.
Designed to foster an in-depth understanding of a child’s grade level curriculum, assessments, academic supports, policies and procedures.
Designed to offer participants the opportunity to develop healthy habits that promote success. These sessions emphasize the importance of physical, social and emotional well-being.
Designed for Prince George’s County Public Schools (PGCPS) staff. Sessions aim to equip school and office staff with best practices in family and community engagement.
